I killed this doe last Saturday on Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina. She was 30 yards and shot with a Hoyt Vector Turbo.

Public land doe kill Empty Re: Public land doe kill

Post by talkthewalk Sun Sep 30, 2012 9:32 pm

Congrats. I also got a doe in public land I was filming and was going to take the one the camera was centered on but two more came in and split on both sides of me. Being five yards away if I move the camera I spook them all. So if I spook em I want to be at full draw. I took the one to my left at five yards thinking I might get it on film depending on how wide the view is? Got home and watched it, and I could only hear the shot. Thats how it goes. But congrats again. Best to get one under your belt now so when you have a set of horns under your stand you will be more confident...great job. Wink
