I'm in need of a deer chili recipe.
If anyone has a good deer chili recipe they'd like to share, I'd love to try it out. I've been frying my deer meat, but I want to make some killer deer chili. Thanks.

OMG...Frying? I got to get to work, but I'll try and come to the rescue when I have a bit more time this evening.

OK here goes. Take your pound of ground venison, and brown it in a skillet.
Put that in your pot. Now, add a can of kidney beans, and a can of stewed tomatoes, juice and all, do not drain. To that add a chopped onion, half a jar of chopped jalapeƱo peppers, pour some of the juice from the jar in there if your brave, ( and an optional chopped green pepper).
You can go two ways from here. Use a prepared package of chili seasoning from the grocery, or about a quarter cup of straight chili powder. To that add a tablespoon of garlic powder,a tablespoon of paprika, and a tablespoon, or more, of powdered cayenne pepper, depending on your tolerance for heat.
Now bring all this to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer until the liquid boils down and it thickens.
Enjoy!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. That's not actually my "secret" recipe, just one I use when I'm in a hurry.
