Hi from the Catskills
Hi, new to the forum. I have 5 acres in Delaware county. I put some food plots in this yr, Deer radishes, Big and Beasty brassicas. They are coming up nicely due to all the rain. I was surprised to see no food plot threads here, or am I not looking in the right place ?

Hi there. I also hunt in the Catskills Delaware County. Not much talk about food plots only because this is really more of a Public Land forum. We have to use natural grown food plots there Welcome to the forum. Do you also hunt public lands in the Catskills?

Re: Hi from the Catskills
Yes, mostly the Catskill park. My property is surrounded by it, I am just lucky to have an area that I own where I can plant some plots. When hunting I am on the public land most of the time hunting trails above my plots where the deer seem to stage until dark.Posted Boy Gallego wrote:Hi there. That is a perfect scenario, congrats! Can't wait to see what you get there this year.
Which part of the Catskills Park are you by? I hunt the Watershed lands around the Pepacton.

Re: Hi from the Catskills
I'm heading up this weekend to look for some stand sites for this yr and check on the plots.
Some of this yrs trail cam pic's. If I should be posting this somewhere else let me know.

Re: Hi from the Catskills
Great pics, big ol bear, lots of coyote around. I'm excited to keep up with your hunts since its in the same neck of woods I need to get a camera. The only clue I have of things around are tracks these days.
