This is the most recent buck I have taken on public land, in 2009. He`s a nice little 2 and a 1/2 year old 7 point with a 15 inch spread,should have been 8 but he was broken off clean on the main beam where his g-2 should have been. In 2010 I started filming for the Public Pope and Young series, and I`ve been letting everything walk since. May have to rethink my strategy.It`s a good thing my wife keeps the freezer full!

Nice buck. A P & Y class deer on public land sure isn't a easy task. Stay hard after them & it will happen.
