Re: What's your weapon & ammo setup?
This year I will be using My low buck bow, Ive spent some time with it this summer and it has moved back up the list.
Diamond Outlaw, Qad Hdx ultra rest, HHA optimizer lite,
Easton Bloodline with NAP Killzone Maxx's.
Took a Hogg with it a couple weeks ago, decent size, and I dont think the arrow ever slowed down. Matter of fact I fully expect the arrow to be making it back to the future any moment now, If My calculations are correct.

Re: What's your weapon & ammo setup?
Actually my setup has changed...
Now it's a 2002 Darton Yukon CPS, Whisker Biscuit dead shot rest, Cobra 3 pin sight, Cabelas Carbon Arrows with Lumenocks, Xecutioner Broadheads and a Tru Ball release I modified.
I changed my setup because for one I love the way this bow shoots and feels, I don't care if it's old I just care how well I shoot it. Secondly, I went back to using sights instead of instinctive because it actually took me longer to get set and shoot when I was going instinctive, I shot fine it was just slower.
And I went back to the carbons because of durability. I liked the heavy aluminums but they bent too easy for me. The carbons I shoot are on the heavy side so they still accomplish the same goal pretty much.
As for the Whisker Biscuit rest, well I had a friend tell me a horror story about his drop away malfunctioning and I don't want it to happen to me. The whisker biscuit is reliable and pretty fool proof in my mind. So basically I switched my setup for shootability and reliability.
