Questions about Scrapes Empty Questions about Scrapes

Post by madeforthewoods Thu Dec 06, 2018 11:11 pm

Just looking for some knowledge/opinions about a couple things regarding scrapes.

1. When leaves or snow start accumulating on the ground, do you try to clear off scrapes (with a stick of course) that are of particular interest to you because of location, activity, etc?

2. When constructing mock scrapes, I know the man-made licking branch wood of choice is grapevine but what other wood types will work? Cedar? Maple? I don't have access to any grapevine.

Thanks guys.
