Well, it's that time of year again. Time to make a road trip to give my daughter an opportunity to compete with the best of the best in the country and even some international competitors. The past couple years it hasn't been that bad just driving to Monroe for the Classic, but this year we're lookin at 8 hrs of road time. I'm excited and yet so nervous for her. In years past we have traveled the state to shoot every 3D tournament we could, but due to medical difficulties and all the dang overtime I've been working, the shoots we've been able to attend have been minimal. She's been working hard at fine tuning her skills the past few weeks after her disappointing showing at the state shoot, but I just don't see that air of confidence she normally has. I would like to ask for prayers that she can cope with the pressure, since she is entering a new classification this year. She will now be competing against the women. I know on day 2 (known distance) there will be nobody that can match her shot for shot, but I'm worried about day 1. I will take pics and let y'all know how things turn out this weekend. :Smile

We're leaving in the morning when I get off work. Any of you happen to be going?

Prayers sent, brother! Safe travels, and may cherished memories be made. I'm sure she wil do her very best, and that's good enough.

Well she ended up placing 8th in her division. It was a learning experience for her. She knows now that the women's division is no cakewalk! Great memories were made and we had lots of fun!
