Wow, wonder what is deemed high powered? The subdivision he was caught in is loaded with deer.

seems like the real issue was trespassing - and in many places a crossbow is considered a legal bow ? - and I know a lot of landowners who prefer simple stykbows - and many who will allow compound guys too after they get to know them and believe they will keep their shooting close range and from a tree aimed at a downward angle.
The number of neighborhoods that are looking for trusted serious dedicated bowhunters is exploding.

Got to agree. Politicians and Knee Jerk reactions. This is much like the on going gun control debacle.

Is anyone fool hearted enough to believe that laws preventing the ownership or use of evil "high powered bows" or " assault weapons" will really prevent anyone who is willing to break the law in the first place from doing so?
