Rough Out There Empty Rough Out There

Starting to think I'm getting too old for this mess. Headed out to do some summer scouting, thought I was going to fall out or have an infarction in the woods in this heat. Whew. Got it done though, but I did not enjoy it as much as I used too.

Boy, here in the Northeast, (Central NY) today low 80s, rest of the week in the mid to low 70s....
We had some heat in the beginning of the summer, but the end is looking kinda cool

It's was around 95 yesterday with 70% humidity here. Scouted for 5 hrs & sweat every minute of it!!!

I'm 51 and in decent shape for my age, but man the heat sure is kicking my butt too! But here's my philosophy: summers in Georgia are miserable anyway, Crying or Very sad so you might as well do all the work (like scouting) in the summer because it's too hot to enjoy anything outside anyway. Then when fall weather hits and life is worth living again, you can enjoy the fruits of your labors.
