Fort McCoy Wisconsin Empty Fort McCoy Wisconsin

Post by rah6785 Mon Feb 24, 2014 2:15 pm

Considering hunting in Fort McCoy Wisconsin in fall of 2014. I have found that one draw restricted area is around the barric's, the rest is open if not being used for military purposes.

Any pro's or con's to hunting Fort McCoy would be appreciated.

Bob in Tomahawk, WI.

Bob, don't know a lot about Ft McCoy, but I really enjoyed Ft Benning as the training area seemed to be a deterrent to natural predators and the deer and hogs where large and in charge. Of course it is also on the AL, GA border and that could be just as good a reason. Happy hunting:) 1:50,000 map and away we go:)
