After 12 years of entering the Maine Moose lottery, I got picked. I've got 5 days (Oct 10 - Oct 15) in a selected zone to tag a bull moose. Most think I'm crazy for choosing my Hoyte as the weapon for a once in a life time hunt.

Man that is great. The hunt is the fun part and you are taking the right equipment to hunt them with. The hard part is after you shoot the big rascal. Have fun.

So my hunting zone is about 3 hrs from home. There we have a came with in the area (bonus free place to camp for the week). We've been up to scout 4 times now sense the good news. I've located two cow families but no bulls yet.
