This Sucks

Well, I`ve been trying to figure how to squeeze one more deer hunt in to finish PLPNY episode 6, and I`m coming to the conclusion that it`s not going to happen before our season ends on the 31st. Really sucks. I`ve got 90% of the video shot,and I had this great ending sequence planned. Well, it would be even better if I nail one last minute,but I had a fall back planned as well. But looks like I`m stuck at work,and I`m going to have to figure something else out,really want to publish the video,I filled it with late season scouting tips and have some good deer footage from a few late season hunts.

That does SUCK! Videoing can drive ya crazy, can't it!!!!! If you absolutely can't get your last hunt in, I would film the ending explaining that. That's keepin it real, & you still get to share the rest of your footage, cause you know your dying to publish it !

I hope it works out. You put out good quailty stuff, I can't wait to see it.

I agree with Dave, go with as is explaining you couldn't finish out the season due to work. Pretty sure most hunters out there deal with this same problem.

Yep, we would understand as I'm sure 95% of us aren't wealthy enough to just hunt and film. Anything you do have will be awesome and worth sharing.

We all understand how that four letter word "work" gets in the way of precious hunting time. You publish great videos, I can't wait to watch if you decide to go ahead with it.

Well, I`ve got another angle to end it, I really didn`t want to push the scouting thing,as I already pushed it pretty hard early in the video, but I got and idea at work today for a minute or two segment to close the video that I think will work well with the theme, now I just need to make time to get out and film it!

So I did manage to get out and film the ending I had in mind over the weekend. Low and behold, I got some great deer footage,even a shed buck to go along with it, it will make for a nice outtro. Would have loved to spend a bit more time afield this year finishing the video, but I wouldn`t trade the late season day I spent in the marsh filming the latest video for my website, "A Public Marsh Duck Hunt" with my son for the biggest public land bruiser. Quality time with those you love,and good friends is hard to come by. I`ll be finishing up editing PLPNY VI in the coming days.
