I've been predominately a longbow guy my whole traditional career. For some reason, this year has found me with all recurves. Guess I made the transition unintentionally. Very Happy

No wheels. I have 3 recurves and 3 longbows. Prefer the longbows but killed deer with both the last 2 seasons. My favorite longbow is the Firefly made by Jim Jones of Michigan. I have 2 of em. One is 50@28 and the other 58@28. My favorite recurve is the Trees Custom Shadow Hawk made by Tracy Trickett. I also have one of his Prickly Curves and Prickly Ash longbow. Bringing up the rear is a 70's Bear Grizzly. She can keep up with the best of em.

voted longbow but love flatbow designs and hybrids too - used recurves mid 70s to early 90s still like em but hunt only with longbows now.

Well unfortunately due to neck injury and 5 shoulder surgeries I can't use traditional bows but luckily our state allows Crossbows. So here's my first deer with a crossbow: Bow Type Poll 04510
