Ok guys my Guido's Web is on order. For you web users what have you found to be the best footrest? I need strap on stuff since public land around here doesn't allow screw-ins.

Just a FYI, the guy I got my web from has 3 more larges for $225 shipped. Pm me if you want contact info.

This is a really good setup, but a bit bulky to carry. I would say if I couldn't use screw in tree steps, I would use these. I talked to the guy a fews months back, it's a solid product.

David did you talk with Jim or the climb paw guys. I really like the step ladder steps. I was wondering if these steps would take the little bit of side pressure that is going to come from standing in the web.

I chatted briefly with both companies. I think it's all about body position.

What do you mean by body position? Height above the steps I'm assuming?

I have ruled out the climb paws to big & bulky to pack. I have a buddy who has the step ladder steps & will try them out in the next couple of weeks.

You going to climb with straps this season?

Body position, how much bend in the legs, how close to the tree, stuff like that. Ability to shift, reposition to relieve pressure.
Nope, I have settled on screw in tree steps. 20 to climb, and 4 for the platform.
