How Many Days Do You Hunt Annually?

i think i was in the woods 59 times this year, shot three, killed 2, (bad record,Iknow) but i got some on film, got a deer bein missed on film, im proud of that:) Hope to get one bein killed, only time will tell

In a typical year I spend between 30-40 day afield, but I haven't had a typical year in quite some time. Work is getting in the way of all my fun lately.

It really varies over the years. When I had my own business I hunted perhaps as many as 90-100 days in a 4 month season. This year?, not sure. I hope to be tagged out (6 deer) in month one.

Although there have been some disruptions these few years past I voted 63 + - We hunt 10 months trying to break for planning July and August. Deer Sept, Oct, Nov thru Dec 10th - then we switch to wild hogs we hunt turkeys Mar, April and sometimes the first week of May then we bowhunt stingrays late May through early July. Includes scout days which sometimes outnumber actual hunt days and a few days of trapping and fishing sometimes one or two days waterfowl each year too. Some years we hunt swans and of course we use bows. We do hunt bears fairly often sometimes in Dec sometimes June. We are average working guys with an above average level of passion. Deer only is about 36 days. If we do an elk hunt this cuts into deer days to some degree.
