Public land archery hunting in Az.

I have recently relocated to Arizona from Oregon and am looking for areas to archery hunt. I noticed that there is a deer season starting on December 15 and going into January of 2013. Grand Canyon State Outfitters has some hunts on agriculture land near Gila Bend but I cannot afford a guided hunt (maybe someday). I was wandering if anyone knows of any public land in the area that would provide for a good hunt?
