Name this TREESTAND
Here is a collage of a treestand. My latest phone video has me standing in the other, both were pick up at a sale and they both weigh about 6.5 lbs each.
I am in the process of re-vamping this one as well , replacing the bad bolts w/gr8 and new cables. As you can see it is almost finished.
The seller was unaware of who made it and when it was made....
Any Ideas?

I use a seat pad, but never leave it in the woods. Use it all the time - except in the rain...
I have been doing some searches on older stands and I thing that it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20years...

The original builder started somewhere around 1979....I believe that this particular model is the "Little Deer".....

Re: Name this TREESTAND
I had the privilege of speaking with an elderly Gentleman today who was the original builder and seller of this type of tree stands.
There was a small tag on the stand that was faded but we were able to get a name and phone ## after some highly sophisticate magnifying.
This is the current owners and a brief writ about the originator:

who was glad that his original was still being used and somewhat surprised that it has lasted all these years....I sent him a pic of the stand and he confirmed that this was/is his original production. The stand was sold for about $30.00 according to the best of his memory.
He had sold the company some years back but was still in contact with the new owners periodocally.
It was an Honor speaking with the Gentleman.
Enjoy.....
