I have noticed at work this wk that the deer have dug through the snow and eating the red bulbs off the catus. We have prickly pear or devil tongue as its called here. I never seen that before.

I'm not surprised I seen a doe eat bark off a pine sapling with acorns on the ground

Ive seen deer eat strange stuff, leaves from poison oak,and young green cockelburs.

They chow down on the very thorny green briers near me. They mostly ignore the green briers that don't have thorns.
