D.I.Y Quiver for Practice
I was in a local hardware store and saw some 1 1/2" pvc scrap that had been cut to size. They were more than happy to sell it to me at a cheap price. Then I found a cap for the pipe, and grabbed a carabiner. Total including a can of coke, was $5 and some change. When I got home I glued the cap to the pipe, cut a few inches off the pipe, drilled two holes toward the top of the pipe and ran some paracord through and tied it to the carabiner. It works for me, easy on my back and better than my pocket, just wanted to share.
Materials list:
1 1/2"x 20" PVC pipe (length depending on preference)
1 1/2" PVC cap
25" of paracord (more of less depending on preference)
1 carabiner
PVC glue
Drill

Re: D.I.Y Quiver for Practice
Im all about DIY gear...great idea...I am trying to figure out a new quiver myself...every where I look its at least 100 bucks for nice one...I might break down...but I have a few ideas on converting my old Fred Bear...on my recurve I like to have a quiver attached to my bow...especially hunting Elk etc...or at least tucked away on my side...

They really are not that hard to come up with.
I made my Asbell style and it probably cost me $10 total in the end.
Love to see what you come up with. You do nice work with your gear!

I just wanted something for practice, so I made this one. I Haven't made one for hunting, I bought a quiver from Eagle's Flight Archery and I'm really pleased. Wolfshead, that's a nice looking quiver.

Thanks!
Can't take full credit for it though, I got the idea from a man named Pat Brennan out of N. Carolina I believe.
He had a pic of his on another site, and I made my version from his picture, and out my twists on it....
