Sarrels Blueridge SR is what I currently shoot. 41lbs take down 60" longbow , that is made in Texas BY Bob Sarrels. I am interested to learn what everyone else is shooting. I live the Bear Archery recurve bows also and have owned them in the past.

have a good season friends on public land. We here in La have quite a bit of public land to hunt.

Good season to you also my friend. I am hunting with a Howard Hill Red Hawk. It is 69" with a back lam of yew, 2 lams of bamboo and a belly lam of Juniper. She's a real beauty and one of the smoothest longbows I've ever shot.

That's sounds sweet, do you prefer the Howard Hill style bows, and why?

I hunted this year with a DAS Dalaa, 60 inch, 47@28 recurve in lost camo. I also took out my Bamabows Tribute 68 inch 60@28 Hill style bow walnut riser and curly maple limbs.
