Anyone hunt nutra rats? I've got an opportunity and was wondering if anyone else has done it? What heads do you use and has anyone done anything with the fur? I've yet to decide if I'm going to but, sure would be a good way to keep the shooting skills sharp.

Never heard of that! However, I use my regular broad heads when I hunt small game. It's definitely a great way to hone your accuracy, and it gets ya back out to the woods!

Thanks Dave! Nutria were introduced into the US to supplement the lack of beaver back in the 1800's. They are a nuisance and most land owners are glad to let folks rid their property of them.

I have a friend here in Oregon with a 118 acre ranch, and he has offered to let me come and use my bow to help thin out some that he has in one of his ponds. I'm thinking of taking him up on the offer.
