Possible EHD CAUGHT ON TRAIL CAM
Nick Boley, owner of Windy Ridge Outfitting in southern Iowa, pulled his trail camera memory card late last September and saw the nine-point buck entering a wooded area near a small watering hole. Only minutes later the deer laid down in its final resting place.
From then, the footage captures over two and a half weeks worth of scavenging and decay on trail camera photos, triggered by numerous vultures and coyotes. It serves as a sobering reminder of the disastrous effects EHD can have on whitetails.

This video is not on public land but the video is presented as awareness that does relate to public land as well.

I would have thought a deer suffering from EHD would look to be in poor condition. That buck looked healthy. Great awareness video.
