PA state gamelands 232 & 245 in Washington county .. Help/Thoughts??
Hey fellow bow hunters I'm not looking for any top secret spots or knowledge, just some advice from seasoned bow hunters who have hunted these areas. Is the deer herd healthy?, do these areas get hammered from the beginning of archery season until the end in January? Will the hours of work needed to scout these two huge areas worth the time? I've never hunted ANY state game lands in PA but think the big woods would be a great change from the high stress community hunting I've done in the past.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.. and I am willing to share any knowledge I gain from my as I take on this new and (probably) extremely challenging turn in my Bow hunting career..
