What WMAs go y'all hunt?
I was wandering what wma or national forest u guys hunt on? How has the past few seasons been going?
Ive hunted demopolis for several years, but have hunted lowndes and Barbour wma for the last several seasons. I have had good success at demopolis and lowndes, haven't put enough time in at Barbour wma.
Would love to hear from other alabama PLB.

The two I hunt the most are Perdido WMA and Upper Delta WMA. I have visited Scotch WMA, Blue Springs WMA, and Boykin WMA as well but only once or twice each. It seems like I'm seeing less and less deer every year at the two I hunt the most and have still have not taken a deer with a bow on any of them yet.

ive hunted james d martin, skyline, barbour, choccolocco, tuskegee national forest, talledega national forest, and a few more i cant think of the names. My favorite and most sucessful is the army corps of engineer in sumter county outside gainsville. i applaud all public land hunters especially alabama boys( we have to work a little harder) if u can killem here with a bow on public land you can killem anywhere in tha world.

I agree with Deep South , I too hunt the Upper Delta and Perdido , as well as the Lower Delta and The Choctaw NWR for pigs . I haven't seen many deer at either Upper Delta or Perdido , as a matter of fact , I saw far more pigs and killed a mess of them last year .

Interesting to here the reports, I have been seeing less deer overall and more hogs as well at lowndes wma, they can sure ruin a place, I need a boat to get to some of the core land available, I keep hearing it is pretty good bowhunting. Keep up the reports it is good to hear how other hardcore bowhunters are doing on the WMAs.
