blaze orange?

If you saw my pics in the pics section you notice that i have some sort of blaze orange. Anytime other than early bow season i always wear a piece of blaze orange weather it be a hat or a vest cause you never know what idiot may stumble upon you or see you going in mid day or draggin 1 out and may do a dumb "sound or movement" shot. Few of the boys i hunt with does this also. Blaze dont spook the deer and it helps with my safety so ive kinda added it to my must haves while all the 2 week trigger happy hunters stamped the woods with a boom stick. .......Does anyone else wear blaze other than when it is mandated?

No. I wear leafy 3D suits to disappear as much as possible.
If orange was not required for part of the season, then I would choose not to wear it at all.

Had some on today,but it`s blackpowder season.We have to wear it during that and firearms season.

Really,it`s not a bad idea as far as safety goes. I`ve been in a tree stand when the tree got peppered by a load of #6 from about twenty yards out and 20 feet below.Not a pleasant experience,trust me.

But no, I don`t wear it much during the early bow season.

To me blaze orange is like getting a flu shot. I don't like it, but it's in my best interest.

i doesnt bother me cause from my experiences it does not affect deer least or hasent yet anyway. I worry for my safety over any old deer cause we all know some of the ignorance that happens in the woods.

I wear it only if I have to, otherwise, I'm invisible!

In Texas You have to ware it when on any WMA land
