Grew up in the high sierras of CA. moved to Texas in 1980 and recently moved back to CA(don't know why). I'm currently working in southern IL. and will be here for about a year. I got lucky and met a local here who has told me I can hunt his land (120 acres) for deer & turkey when season opens back up. I shoot recurves only, well longbows too I just don't own one right now.

I have a 62" #54 Blacktail and a 62" #62 Whippenstick Hellfire.

Been shooting bows since I was about 12 and am 53 now. Went through the compound phase back in the late 70's but didn't like them really.

Stumbled on this place watching youtube archery vids. I like it. Us public land hunters have needed a place like this.
