Hi i just moved here to Falling Waters area and trying to get some leads on some good areas to start hunting bow in some what close to home. I have hunted down around Blackwater Falls during rifle season. I know Sleepy Creek is some what close as well but was wondering if there was some little areas closer to home. Thanks Earl

Hey bud I just joined today. I live right up the road on a farm near BEDINGTON few miles south. Lived around here my hold life. Other than SLEEPY CRREEK theres no PL closest would be SNANADALE near HARPERS FERRY again hour maybe. Lots of pressure there not like SLEEPY CREEK. GEORGE WASHINGTON NF is'nt far in HAMPSHINE, HARDY and VA. I bow hunted this a lot when I was younger. It's only a hour or so. You could hunt it everyyear for the rest of your life and never see it all.
I've hunted SLEEPY CREEK as kid up. And have killed quite a few bucks with rifle,ML and a bow. I only turkey hunt it now but I can point you in the right directioins. Sleepy creeks not that far from you 15 .20 mins.
