Not sure it is a contest worthy shot, but was excited to pull this one out. Went back in to put the camera a little lower for a better shot. Ignore the date and time stamp, I forgot to set it right. This was about 3 days ago. Aug 18.

pretty sure same buck couple days later:) fixed the white out best I could. You get a better idea of the body size from this angle.

Our season opens up next weekend. I'm fixing to drive my wife nuts I think haha. I normally hunt every weekend October-Jan for deer all seasons so my wife gets a bit edgy when it approachs.

I HEAR THAT. I try to set my priorities in this order. Faith, Family, Job, Fun. That Fun is hunting and that is all I do. However, balance is tough at times. Best to you this season Kodiakk:)
