New to Iowa

Hi - I just re-located to the Des Moines, Iowa, area and I do not have the financial resources to buy or lease land here, but I am excited about the public land opportunities here. Are there any other members from Iowa? I don't know any local hunters here and I'd love to get know some and talk hunting. If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions for me I'd greatly appreciate that. I'm looking forward all the things I'll pick up from this site.
