Our turkey season opens Next Saturday. I am thinking of taking my bow this year. Has anyone else had any luck with a bow and have you had any luck with a bow without a blind?

Anyone been turkey hunting with a bow on public land and had success this year? I have only heard one myself.

I hunted public land for about 2 weeks with some success, but no turkeys. Opening morning I called a Tom in off the roost. He got to about 40 yards and saw something he didn't like, putted a few times, and was gone. I have heard a fair amount of birds on public land, but the hunting has been tough.
