Re: My Samick Sage & SBD String
I have heard a lot about the Sage. Been thinking of getting one for my 13yr old son as he is wanting to hunt with me next year. Amazing the difference in sound a string and limb silencers can make. Thanks for sharing your setup with us!

I really like my Sage, and it would be good for kids also since you can buy additional limbs for $73 if they every want to move up in draw weight.

Re: My Samick Sage & SBD String
It's a little more quiet, but to be honest it sounded pretty quiet right out of the box. Samick makes great bows. I love my 69" SLB longbow but it's just a bit too long for hunting from the ground in thick cover, and my 51 year old body isn't strong enough to pull 45 pounds with enough control as I'd like. So, I'm thinking about a Samick Stingray recurve 58" at 40 pounds. Still heavy enough for deer at 15 yards or so.
