I like to build thing so I building a portable blind I found on a site for Wildlife photograph equipment here a photo of it...I just getting started....

I don't see why it would not work, does look somewhat bulky. as for the clothes, once inside and the light is barely penetrating - you could wear bright orange and it would not matter - its the movement that they spot.....of course they can smell toooo.

I like it, I think it would work well as long you tuck it into some brush real well. Better draw before he walks into your shooting lane though....
