Public Land Bear Hunt. Empty Public Land Bear Hunt.

I swung by the tax collectors office today and got a bear tag while attending other business. First year in Florida since I believe 1994 they have allowed bear hunting. Alot of controversy over it currently, including threats of a lawsuit. But I am excited. Ill post a couple links, one to the FWC.

The section of North Carolina that I haven't started allowing bear hunting on the national Forest just last year. I buy a tag and will shoot a bear if it comes by but I do not hunt Them primarily it is just while deer hunting.

Bought all my licenses yesterday. Starting this year Va has separated bear from their big game license. Had to pay an additional fee for bear this year. Tried just deer hunting and all I see are bear. Go for bear and only see deer. Go figure?!

I don't think I'll be hunting bear this year. If I do it'll be on private land at established bait sights. Just don't have time to keep a sight going my self this year. It's a lot of work keeping bears fed.
