My mods so far are pretty basic. I added camo tape to the sticks & buckles. Also I added a strap to the bottom step, which allows me to place the bottom stick at chest height. This also doubles as a carrying strap when my sticks aren’t strapped to my stand. I plan to change out the buckle straps for ropes with prussic knots.

If you have any mods lets hear them.

Yeah the first thing I changed was the straps with the ropes with Prussic knots

I have a strap hanging from one stick just like you have in the picture.
I use that to attach the bundle to my lineman's belt so they hang at my left side while I'm climbing. Then I can lay the whole bundle across the belt in front of me to take one off and then lay the rest back at my side to attach one and climb up.
