Ok guys the applications start on August 1st are any of you putting in ? If so what WMA's are you putting in for ? I am putting in for Mahanah,Twin Oaks, and Natchez state park.

I would love to put in for Natchez State park, but the non-res thing kind of shuts that down. Good luck on your draws.

Natchez State park is my favorite. Mahhanah has a lot of deer and hogs but its hard to get them in bow range. This is my first year to put in for Twin oaks. You hunt MS much Cbigbear?

I am hoping to hunt Sandy Creek this year. I have driven by it a hundred times but never hunted it. I am going over and do some scouting at the end of August or first of September to see what it looks like.

During bow you'll have the whole 16k ac. to yourself, I mean you'll be sharing it with me. During gun season business picks up, but not bad. Last year the acorns were thick & you had to cover a lot of ground to find those primary trees. I need to get up there in the next couple weeks myself to locate some new trees.

If you look in the trophy den, the buck I posted came from SC last year.
