I'm just curious, I've always shot a compound and this will be my first solid hunting season with a longbow. My arrows weigh around 550 grains, and my bow is 45#, probably closer 47# since my draw is a tad longer. Just wanted to see what everyone was shooting. Have a good one.

I shoot Douglas Fir (surewood shafts) with 130 grain STOs broadheads and natural turkey feathers.
Total weight is approximately 546 grains.
Draw weight is 45#@27"

My total arrow weight with 160 gr Simmons Landsharks is 487 gr. My draw weight is 62#.

I shoot 500 grain arrows with a 65lb draw in a compound. My arrow is an Easton Axis and I shoot 125 grain heads with MaxHunter vanes.

My beman hunters weigh out at about 450 with 190 simmons interceptors, pullin bout 51lbs out of my quinn stallion. but i have weighted them before with old aliminum arrow shafts and that getsem on up closer to 5 hunerd and 5 in crockett cut feathers with a purty good bit ah twist Smile
