Hello everyone, Backwaters Bowhunter here you can call me Jake. I'm from and hunt in Alabama. I have a strong passion for bow hunting and really enjoy our public land here in Alabama. I don't view the land as mine, but I believe we're simply the caretakers of God's creation. I currently hunt with a Diamond Rapture and I recently bought a r/d t/d longbow from a local bowyer named Jeff Carter and it shoots like a dream. This forum was a great idea and the brain child of Dave Mullins, which it is the only real source of information for the niche of the public land bow hunter. I was very humbled when Dave asked me to the Alabama state representative for the forum. So kick your feet up and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow public land bow hunters. God bless and good hunting.

I hunt in north alabama too. I hunt skyline,mud creek,little river, Choccoloca,and all the national forest land beside it. I also hunt a lot in south Alabama
