Our season starts September 9. I've been ready to go since the last day of the season last year which was January 1. Anyone else getting the itch pretty bad?

Opens Oct 7 here. On July 1 I lost the property I've been hunting the past 30 yrs (borders a secluded corner of WMA-my main hunting area). Once the heat drops some I'll check on some other areas of the WMA.

Sorry you lost your property but public land is the way to go in my opinion. I have not set foot on private land in over a decade. I love the challenge and year round scouting of public land

I agree. Each year I go for 2 weeks to the GWNF near the end of Oct. Nothing like the challenge of big woods bucks. Good luck
